During a recent broadcast, the choir sang songs with a Thanksgiving/Harvest theme. One of the songs included a lyric specifically about the harvest, first the blade and then the ear. While rehearsing this number I turned to the second tenor on my right and told him he'd be able to remember this particular line if he thought of Vincent Van Gogh. It got a chuckle out of him then, and it did during the actual broadcast as well. Little did we know we'd be caught thinking of Van Gogh while appearing on the top right of our viewing audience's screen.Friday, November 28, 2008
