On the set

"There's a time for love and a time for living. You take a chance and face the wind. An open road and a road that's hidden A brand new life around the bend..." I remember these familiar words on my television set as I was introduced to Tony Danza, and Alyssa Milano among others. I'm sure I saw nearly every episode of Who's the Boss growing up, but then again we watched nearly every episode of every television family sit com. Well, for the last two days I've just happened to be on the set once again with Alyssa Milano, this time in person. Just so happens that our Struck offices were chosen as the location for a movie being filmed in SLC starring the former child actress. I caught myself right in the middle of a scene filmed around our office, and with a direct view of a seperate scene they filmed in our conference room. She and everyone else seemed pretty cool, and it was fun to see all the workings that go into making a movie. In some ways it made me wonder what it would be like to be in front of all the cameras and crew, acting opposite Ms. Milano and making a living as a film actor. On that same train of thought, seeing the extras, or background artists, made me want to be as far away from that vocation as possible. Brand new live as an actor around the bend?... I doubt it.
