Busy Week: September 6-12, 2009

This one is for the record books. Never before have I crammed so much activity into 7 days. At the end of it all I was exhausted yet incredibly satisfied. Here are some of the highlights:

We wrapped up our campout to Arches National Park just outside of Moab. 3 nights camping in a row; a family record. We had a blast.

4 full evenings and a portion of my Saturday morning of recording a CD with the Tabernacle Choir

2 music videos recorded with the Tabernacle Choir. One with Andrea Bocelli, and the other with the talented 'Hitman', David Foster.

18 holes of golf. Complete with a collection of splendid long drives out of the tee box and some long birdie puts.

1 dozen ProV1x Titlist golf balls and a whale golf club head cover won in a raffle.

One 22" flat screen digital television won in another raffle.

25 mile training run on Saturday morning with Becky. We got started round 5am. An old school marathon. Just 1.2 miles shy of the real distance.

9 miles total training miles from my Tuesday and Thursday run.

I was asked by a gal at work on Friday afternoon of that week what I was doing over the weekend. I quickly rattled off the details: I'm running a marathon, recording a CD, recording two music videos, and performing on a live national television and radio broadcast. She didn't believe me.

Holy smokes Ryan!! Luckily I know that you only speak the truth, otherwise I might not believe you either! I hope you had time to take a long nap after that. Also, I want in on some of that raffle action.
