"[Catchup] would have greatly improved this meal."-Muriel Snarr
(a former waitress at Keeley’s restaurant SLC)
Mom will never serve meatloaf without ketchup again. Not after she got this note from my Grandma Snarr. Things seem to be working nicely with my folks taking care of my dad’s parents. They are pretty much low maintenance quiet folk who don’t say much. They eat their meals, watch their TV, and really don’t ask for much. Apparently the meatloaf served without ketchup just wasn’t acceptable to Grandma. She wrote mom a little note--yes, she even referenced her waitress position at Keeley's where she worked over 60 years ago--and left it with her dinner tray rather than just asking for some ketchup. Mom is saving the note as a keepsake. I’m sure Grandma will have ketchup for breakfast, lunch, and dinner from here on out.
