We had some special visitors in the studio today. Rebekah Bradford & Katherine Reutter from the US Speedskating team came dropped by. These 2010 Olympians competed in the Long and Short track speedskating respectively. Katherine was gracious enough to let me feel her silver medal around my neck. These medals are super cool. From their weight, their size, the ribbon, and the individual packaging. Each skater was also very cool; very personable. Chatting with them and having been to a long-track event at the Olympic Oval definitely makes me want to try their sport. And for all those wondering, these Olympians don't work at the Home Depot.
