After weeks of trying to install CS3 on my computer, the day finally arrived when I no longer have to wonder whether or not it will install successfully. As if I literally took the wadded up idea of a complete installation out of the trashcan, uncrumpled the paper, and renewed my hope in the binary forces that assemble the computer world around me, I tried one more time. It finally worked--the Hallelujah chorus is playing in my head. I have to admit that I have to give credit to crossing my fingers. I think all of the unsuccessful attempts before I failed to involved the crossed digits. Through the trial of installation headache I've learned a list of things that will serve me a long time: offers that are too good to be true are too good to be true. It pays to be honest, nice, patient, hopeful, and long suffering when working with people and computer software. Here's to the beginning of a new love triangle: me, PC, and CS3.
