A Snarrly family reunion

Getting together with the Snarr side of the family takes place about once a week on Sunday.  As anyone would imagine, we are able to touch base with parents, siblings, and the kids can play with their cousins.  Our weekly get-together started small with everyone sitting comfortably around the dinner table at Mom & Dad's home. We'd eat our meal and usually end up playing a game together as we enjoyed some sort of dessert. Over time we've incorporated and completely filled a kid's table, we rotate our host home, and weekly is beginning to turn into biweekly for those of us with growing families.  The addition of spouses and children throughout this time has brought a new and wonderful changes to each reunion.  Now comes the addition of Great Grandparents.  All signs indicate that Grandma and Grandpa Snarr will be moving into Mom and Dad's home in a month or two.  The change will definitely bring a new dynamic to weekly get-togethers. This news was announced a couple weeks ago over dinner. This is where the natural progression of our Snarrly family reunion takes a turn for the unexpected.  This is also the opportunity for 'unexpected' to open the door for new blessings to come into our lives.  For any number of reasons we haven't taken the opportunities to come together as extended family as often as we could have.  I see this change as a step in the opposite direction.  The new direction means that we begin getting to know our extended family more, talking with each other more, and dealing with one another more. I'm sure we may even bother one another a bit more, but at least we get to do so as a family.  It also means a larger dinner table and sharing the piano bench with your neighbor as you eat.
