We’re playing the name game at our house right now, and the intensity is about to ramp up. We find out the gender of our third child next week. That should narrow the search by half. It is silly, but I hate asking people what they’ve named their children, or what they’re going to name their child. Likewise with sharing the names I’m considering for one of my children. If you dislike the name you’re told it is difficult to disguise your dislike. I’d rather not put myself in the situation; especially since there are so many crazy names people are coming up with now. The letter Y is being used much too liberally, names are being smooshed together to create hybrid sort names, and the spelling of said names is a little on the Picasso side of the spectrum. I realize if I hear a name I don’t like nobody is asking me to like it, or to use it for one of my children, but the trouble is when I hear an ugly name it just seems to echo in my brain for a little too long or something. With all that said, our child mustn’t be without a name, and we must choose. I’m posting some of the front runners even though I’m uncomfortable doing it. I just have to remember… I don’t care what you or anybody else thinks.Boys: Peter Webb, Bryant, Isaac, Joshua. Girls: Ariane, Danielle
