What better way to wish my dad a happy birthday than to give him something that he has never received before, and at the same time two of his favorite things. This red velvet cake paired with cream cheese frosting prepared just right came together to form the first ever cake steak. Word has it that it was a hit; the texture and flavor were perfect. Rare of course, very rare. Definitely a do over.

Steak. Extremely Rare.

I'm a big dork...I remembered Dad's birthday the day before and then of course I forgot to call him on the day of. Loser, total loser. Luckily I have talked to him and he's forgiven me! ;)
